The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) handed over the body of a Bangladeshi man to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) six days after he was beaten to death by some Indian nationals.
The BGB officials received the dead body of Lokman Hossain, 32, through a flag meeting held on Friday evening, said BGB-55 Assistant Director Nasir Uddin.
Earlier, on May 24, Lokman, a resident of Madhobpur upazila of the district, was beaten to death allegedly by some locals at Gopalnagar village in India's Tripura state while he was heading towards his aunt's house in Mohonpur village in the state.
