Four more people were diagnosed with Covid-19 in Chittagong after the samples were tested at Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID) on Sunday.
Chittagong Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi confirmed the matter.
As of Sunday, 40 patients have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in Chittagong district. Of them, five patients including three men and two women have died of the viral disease.
Bangladesh has reported 2456 Covid-19 cases until Sunday. Among them, 91 died while 75 have recovered so far.
