Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) has taken an initiative to provide transport facilities to the healthcare professionals who cannot get to their workplaces amid the countrywide shutdown to curb the transmission of coronavirus.
CMP Commissioner Mahabubur Rahman has directed to all the Officer-in-Charges of 16 police stations in the city in this regard, on Tuesday.
Any healthcare professional can contact CMP hotline number (01400400400) and seek transport facilities for getting to workplaces or returning home from workplaces.
“The common people and the healthcare professionals alike will benefit from the initiative,” said the commissioner.
