2 Bangladeshi siblings killed in Mozambique road accident

The accident left three other Bangladeshis injured

Two Bangladeshi brothers have been killed and three others injured in a road accident in Mozambique.

The accident occurred on Thursday night.

The deceased are Al Amin, 23, and Mohammad Arafat, 21, sons of Mohammad Hossain from Mirwarishpur village of Begumganj upazila in Noakhali district.

The identities of the injured are yet to be disclosed. 

 Mohammad Hossain said: “Amin and Arafat had flown to Mozambique from Dhaka on August 13 and August 31 respectively. They were on their way to South Africa's Johannesburg to meet their elder brother, Nasir, when the accident happened.

“My sons were travelling with three other Bangladeshis, who were also injured in the car accident.”

 Officer-in-Charge of Begumganj police station Harun Ur Rashid said he is yet to be informed of the accident.
