Plaintiff Md Asad Mia said: “I was going to Kishoreganj for my daughter’s medical examination the following day when the police constable who was also going with us got a call on his mobile phone. Then the constable took us back to the police station instead of going for the medical test.
“When we reached the police station, we saw Robin and his relatives there. The OC then asked us to go back to our home.
“We heard that Robin was released on the same night.”
Refusing the allegation, OC Ahsan Ullah said it was all a conspiracy against him.

According to police sources, one Asad Mia of Bir Noakandi village filed a written complaint with the police station on January 21.
In the complaint, the plaintiff stated that Robin Mia of the same area used to stalk his 14-year-old daughter on her way to school. Robin along with his associates abducted the girl around 4pm on January 21.
Sub-Inspector Md Moin Uddin, investigation officer of the case, detained accused Robin Mia and rescued the girl on the same night.
Wishing anonymity, a source at the police station said OC Md Ahsan Ullah recorded the case under Women and Children Repression Prevention Act around 12:15am January 22.
