A female garment worker died in a road accident in Dewanpara of Saturia upazila, Manikganj.
The deceased, Rima Begum, 21, wife of Ujjal Hossain was originally from the Dupapara area of the Putia upazila of Rajshahi. She was a rentee of Shah Alom of Dewanpara of the Saturia upazila.
The accident took place as a bus ran her over while she was trying to catch her office vehicle to go to a local garments factory on Friday.
Speaking to Dhaka Tribune, Officer-in-Charge of the Saturia police station Motiar Rahman said: "After the accident some locals took the seriously injured Rima to the Manikganj ZilaF Hospital. Later the on duty doctor declared her dead. We sent the dead body to the hospital mortuary for autopsy."
