A suspected drug dealer has been killed in a "gunfight" with police in Satra area of Sadar upazila.
Shahidul Islam alias Kutu, 30, died in Thursday's incident
Police said that he was accused in 10 to 12 cases, UNB reports.
Mohammad Abu Salam Miah, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Model Police Station, said that they raided Shahidul’s house early in the morning.
A "gunfight" between police and criminals wounded Shahidul.
He was then taken to Comilla Medical College Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
Police recovered a barrel pistol, three cartridges, and 652 yaba pills from the scene of the incident.
