Three people have been killed—and 15 injured—as a bus lost control and crashed into a roadside ditch in Chatkhil upazila of Noakhali.
The accident occurred on Sonapur-Ramganj road in Porkot union of the upazila around 9:45am on Wednesday.
However, the identities of the deceased and injured people have not yet been determined. The injured were taken to different local hospitals for treatment.
Chatkhil police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Anwarul Islam said: “A Lakshmipur-bound Janani Service bus crashed into a roadside ditch when the driver lost control of the steering, leaving three people dead on spot, and many injured.”
