A construction worker was killed in Gobindaganj upazila of Gaibandha when a brick piece fell on his head.
Toja Miah, 35, was hit by a brick-piece on Saturday during construction of the gate for the house of Makbul Hossain in Shakhahar union in Gobindaganj.
He worked as an assistant mason in construction.
Shakahar union council Chairman, Md Shahadat Hossain, confirmed and said: “During the construction of the gate of Makbul Hossain's house, a piece of brick fell on his head around 4 pm.”
He died on the spot, the chairman added.
