Child killed in Brahmanbaria road accident

Four other injured individuals have been  admitted to hospital

A child has been killed—and four other individuals have been injured—in a collision between a truck and CNG in Arshiura area of Brahmanbaria.

The accident happened on Sylhet highway around 10 am on Friday.

Police and witnesses said the CNG, carrying five passengers, was coming to Brahmanbaria city from Nabinagar Bitghar when it was hit by a truck coming from opposite side. 

The child, Hamim, died on the spot and four other individuals—including his parents, Morshed Alam, and Nazma Begum—were admitted to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital.

Doctor Nazmul Haque said: “Among the injured, Nazma’s condition is critical and others have undergone basic treatment.”
