A Kushtia court on Tuesday cancelled the bail granted to the owner and the driver of a bus of Ganj-e-Raj Paribahan, in the case filed over the death of 13-month-old Akifa Yasmin in a road accident in the district on August 28.
The court, led by Senior Judicial Magistrate MM Morshed, cancelled the bail and issued arrest warrants against the two in the morning, said SI Azhar Ali.
A court had granted bail to the bus driver and owner in the case on Monday. Senior Judicial Magistrate Morshed had passed the order when their lawyers filed separate petitions for bail before the court.
Earlier on Sunday, members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Joynal Abedin, the owner of the bus, from his house in Faridpur. He was subsequently sent to jail.
