Two people have been killed in a road accident in Gaibandha’s Shaghata Upazila.
The deceased were identified as Sajib Ghosh and Naruttam.
The accident occurred in Chithulia area on Wednesday morning when a Gaibandha-bound tractor hit the motorbike, carrying two people, leaving both dead on the spot, said Shaghata police station OC Mostafizur Rahman.
Police impounded the tractor, but its driver managed to flee the scene.
