A mother and her daughter were killed in a road accident on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway in Burichang upazila of Comilla on Wednesday night.
Farhana Begum and Kaniz Kanchan, both locals of Burichang, were struck by a microbus as they were crossing the road near the Nazirabazar area, reports UNB.
Mainamati police station OC Mahbubur Rahman said the pair were taken to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Comilla, where the on-duty doctors pronounced them dead.
