At least six people, including two children, have been killed – and seven others injured – when a microbus collided head-on with a truck in the Muhuriganj area of Feni district.
The identities of the deceased could not yet be ascertained.
Muhuriganj highway police outpost In-Charge Sergeant Md Mahabub Alam confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune on Monday morning.
He said: “A cattle-laden truck collided head-on with a microbus on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway around 4am, killing six people on the spot.
“The bodies are at Feni Modern Sadar Hospital. The injured are also being treated at the same hospital.”
