A Bangladeshi expatriate has died in a road accident in Saudi Arabia.
Another person was also reportedly injured in the incident that took place in the kingdom’s Al-Qassim region on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Yusuf, 50, of Darbarpur union in Feni’s Fulgazi upazila, said the union’s Chairman Nizam Uddin.
Yusuf was an employee at a company in Riyad.
His nephew Iqbal Ahmed Chowdhury, a Bangla lecturer at Alauddin Ahmed Chowdhury Nasim College in Feni, said Yusuf had visited home for several days last month.
“We came to know about his death over phone Thursday night,” Iqbal said, adding that Yusuf was survived by two sons.
The process to bring his body back home was underway, he added.
