Ferry services on Paturia-Daulatdia route resume after 2 hrs

Ferry services on Paturia-Daulatdia route in the Padma River resumed after two hours of suspension caused by dense fog on Saturday morning. "The ferry services remained suspended from 7:30am due to poor visibility caused by thick fog," said Nasir Mohammad Chowdhury, assistant general manager of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) at Aricha. Later, the ferry services resumed around 9:30am as the fog disappeared, Nasir added.
