Update : 29 Dec 2017, 09:10 AM
When the four BAF pilots jumped into the Bay of Bengal to save themselves after two training jets crashed over Maheshkhali on Wednesday, two local siblings sacrificed their fishing net, their only means of earning, to save them. The siblings are Kamal Pasha, 30, and Mohammad Mubin, 20, sons of Nurul Haque from Ghonar Para area of Maheshkhali municipality. BAF Squadron Leader Arman told UNB that Kamal and Mubin were the first ones to come forward to rescue the pilots after they jumped out of their jets using parachutes.
