All the men save Abu Yusuf were sent to Kurigram General Hospital for treatment, confirmed Dr Md Shahinur Rahman Sardar of the hospital.
Abu was sent to Rangpur Medical College Hospital due to the severity of his injuries.In the early morning on Saturday, eight freedom fighters were injured in an accident near Durgapur Bazaar Bridge when returning from the Victory Day flag raising ceremony.
Abdur Razzak, commander of Durgapur Union’s Muktijoddha Sangsad, informed the Dhaka Tribune of the incident.
