Woman crushed under the wheels of train

The deceased was Samsunnahar, 40, wife of Bacchu Mia, hailing from Chatitola of Comilla. Assistant Sub-Inspector Priomoy Chakma of Chittagong Railway GRP station said: “A Dhaka –bound Karnafuli Express crushed Samsunnahar at Kadamtali railway crossing while she was trying to cross the railway with her three children after getting off Meghna Express in the morning, leaving her dead on spot. “However, her three children managed to save them from the accident,” said Priomoy. The body was handed over to the family members without autopsy. An unnatural death (UD) case was lodged in this connection, added the ASI.
