Body of missing man recovered in Chittagong

Deceased Jamal Uddin Sultan, 46, was a resident of East Gosaildanga area in the city, said the police. Locals informed the police after they noticed the body inside a sack on a road near the gate of Bank Colony in Beparipara area in the morning, said Sub-Inspector (SI) Kaisar Hamid of the police station. Later, the police recovered the body and sent it to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) for postmortem. Jamal did not come back home after he left his residence for his office in Agrabad area of the city, said the SI. Quoting family member, Kaisar said Jamal inherited a huge amount of land property in the port city and did businesses concerned with land. The victim’s son Imaj Uddin Sultan filed a case in this connection with the police station.
