Bangladesh reports 69 more Covid cases

No deaths from Covid-19 reported in four days

Bangladesh reported 69 more Covid-19 cases in 24 hours till Thursday morning.

The total number of fatalities remained unchanged at 29,426 as no new death was reported for the fourth consecutive day.

With the new infections, the caseload rose to 2,036,061, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The daily infection rate dropped to 1.52% from Tuesday's 1.66% as 4,528 samples were tested during the period.

The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.45% while the recovery rate rose to 97.41%.

In October, the country reported 60 Covid-19 deaths and 10,043 cases.

Bangladesh registered its highest daily caseload of 16,230 on July 28 last year and daily fatalities of 264 on August 10 of the same year.
