St Joseph Higher Secondary School Principal Brother Robi Theodore Purification, CSC, has died of Covid-19 in Dhaka at the age of 61.
He breathed his last at a hospital in the capital around 6:15pm on Tuesday, said a statement issued by the school authorities.
Brother Robi, who was also suffering from problems in his pancreas, leaves behind his mother, a host of relatives, friends and students to mourn his death.
His body will be kept on the school premises at 97 Asad Avenue of Mohammadpur for three hours from 9:30am on Wednesday, for people to pay their last respects to the seasoned academician.
Brother Robi will be laid to rest at the War Christian Cemetery of Narinda.
