Awami League Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim has tested positive for Covid-19.
He is currently taking treatment at a hospital in the capital.
Confirming the matter on Wednesday afternoon, the former lawmaker of Madaripur-3 said that he received the test result on Tuesday night, after giving the sample in the morning.
“Now I am at a hospital in the capital,” he said.
Bahauddin Nasim is the founder president of Awami Swechchhasebak League. He served as the organising secretary of Awami League Central Committee for three consecutive terms and was later promoted to the joint general secretary in the last national council of the party.
