The number of Covid-19 cases in Chittagong crossed 8000 with 346 infections reported in a single day on Sunday.
With each day passing, the death toll from the deadly viral disease is surging in Chittagong.
As of Sunday, Chittagong recorded 8,035 confirmed cases of Covid-19. Of them, 171 people have already died of the deadly viral disease.
According to the Chittagong Civil Surgeon’s office, 365 Covid-19 patients are currently undergoing treatment at different hospitals in the city.
965 Covid-19 patients have returned home after recovering from the deadly viral disease at different hospitals and 606 persons are now in home quarantine.
