Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, and his wife Laila Arjumand Banu have tested positive for Covid-19.
The ministry’s Senior Information Officer Sufi Abdullahil Maruf confirmed the matter.
Mozammel’s Personal Secretary Habibur Rahman also contracted the coronavirus.
Their samples were tested on Thursday.
The minister and his wife are currently undergoing treatment at home.
