The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) on Thursday recommended the recruitment of 2,000 doctors and 5,054 nurses on urgent basis to tackle ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The doctors will be recruited from the waiting list of the 39th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) exam.
Meanwhile, the nurses will be employed from the waiting list of senior staff nurse recruitment examination held in 2018, reports UNB.

As of Thursday, Bangladesh confirmed 7,667 coronavirus cases with the death toll rising to 168 after five new fatalities were reported.
The fast spreading Covid-19 has so far killed 231,000 people in more than 200 countries and territories.
