The government is planning to resume public transport services in phases after evaluating the situation of the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
The announcement was through a circular, issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday, declaring the extension of the ongoing general holiday to May 5.
The circular also said vehicles and employees of emergency services, including utility services like electricity, water, gas and internet, among others, will remain out of the purview of the general holiday.
