Work on a 2,000-bed isolation centre at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka for Covid-19 patients is going on in full swing, reports UNB.

Visiting the establishment on Thursday, a UNB correspondent found that the shed of the temporary hospital has already been installed, while technicians were working to set up isolation units for patients under the massive tent.

Some beds were also taken to the isolation centre for installation for the Covid-19 patients.

Technicians, who were working at the tent, said they hope the hospital would be ready within next week.
