In a latest reshuffle in the administration, the government has promoted 277 senior assistant secretaries to the rank of deputy secretary.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard on Monday.
Fifteen officers of senior assistant secretary rank currently serving at various Bangladesh embassies and missions abroad are among the promoted officials.
