The government on Thursday announced four new commissions in a bid to reform Bangladesh.
These commissions have been formed on health, mass media, workers' rights and women affairs.
Four distinguished citizens have been made head to the respective commissions for these sectors.
National Professor Dr A K Azad Khan has been made head for health commission, Kamal Ahmed for media, Syed Sultan Uddin Ahmed for Labour and Shirin Parvin for Women commission.
The names of full members of the commission will be announced within seven to ten days
Environment and Forest Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan came up with the information at a briefing at Foreign Service academy on Thursday evening.
The advisory council meeting took this decision chaired by Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus.
