The National Review Committee (NRC) has invited the public to submit evidence or information regarding corruption in the power and energy sector, according to a public notification issued by the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources on Thursday.
The committee has requested individuals to submit their complaints and relevant documents to assist in investigating deals signed under the Speedy Supply of Power and Energy (Special Provision) Act 2010 during the previous Awami League regime.

It also mentioned that the committee will take necessary measures after communicating with the complainant and the accused person or their institution or organization.
Furthermore, the notification indicated that the committee will initiate efforts to collect necessary information and support from relevant companies and organizations, engaging in various activities related to contracts signed under the Speedy Supply of Power and Energy (Special Provision) Act 2010 (Amendment 2021).
