The immediate past commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Md Asaduzzaman Mia has joined the National Security Affairs Cell under the Cabinet Division as its chief executive officer (CEO).
Asaduzzaman paid a courtesy visit on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her Ganabhaban after submitting his joining letter to the cabinet division on Monday.
He also thanked her for his appointment and sought all out cooperation in performing his duty with utmost sincerity and honesty. Later, he visited his proposed office located at the Prime Minister’s Office premises.
Earlier, the former DMP commissioner was appointed as the CEO of the National Security Affairs Cell under the Cabinet Division on tenure for three years.
