The Bangladesh-India Friendship Society has distributed food items among the poor on the occasion of Ramadan.
About 300 families received food packets containing essential items at Priyanka Shooting Zone, Birulia, Savar, Dhaka, on Sunday morning.
General Secretary Narayan Saha Moni, Presidium Member freedom fighter Abdul Haq, former secretary of the government Ashole Madhab Roy, and cultural personality Saidur Rahman Sajal were present, among others.
