Souk-e-Ramadan 2026 draws 15,000 visitors in Dhaka

Two-day fair in Uttara features 150 stalls, cultural events and business networking

Souk-e-Ramadan 2026, a two-day Ramadan fair jointly organized by JCI Bangladesh and LUX Bangladesh, was held on March 13–14 at the United Convention Center in Uttara, Dhaka, bringing together businesses, entrepreneurs and visitors for shopping and cultural activities.

According to organizers, the event attracted around 15,000 visitors, including families and groups, who visited various stalls across the venue.

A total of 150 stalls participated in the fair, offering products such as fashion items, jewellery, handmade crafts and food.

Alongside established brands, emerging entrepreneurs were also given the opportunity to showcase their products.

Participating businesses reported strong customer engagement during the event.

The fair included a range of cultural and entertainment activities.

Visitors attended live Qawwali and flute performances, while children took part in magic shows and puppet performances.

A mehendi corner was set up for traditional hand designs, and virtual reality gaming arrangements were available for younger attendees.

Organizers said decorative lighting was used in the evening to enhance the fair environment for visitors.

As part of the program, JCI Bangladesh arranged iftar and sehri for its members, bringing together entrepreneurs and professionals from different districts.

The initiative aimed to facilitate networking and promote collaboration among participants.

Skybuy served as the official sponsor of the event.

According to organizers, the fair was designed to support local businesses, promote entrepreneurship and provide a platform for engagement during Ramadan.
