The visiting Election Exploratory Mission from the European Union (EU) will visit the BNP Chairperson's office on Saturday.
A discussions is scheduled to be held at 9am on Saturday, said Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP's media cell on Friday.
According to sources, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will lead the party's delegation in the discussion.
Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and some others will be present at the meeting as well.
The visiting EU delegation began their activities in Bangladesh on Sunday to assess the situation on the ground ahead of the country's upcoming national election.
Based on the information received from the fact-finding mission, the European Union will take a final decision on sending a full-fledged Election Observation Mission (EOM) before the next national election.
The main objective of the Election Exploratory Mission is to assess the “advisability, usefulness and feasibility” of a possible EU Election Observation Mission for the upcoming parliamentary election, according to the EU Mission in Dhaka.
