Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sent fresh seasonal mangoes as gifts to his Pakistani counterpart Shehbaz Sharif.
The Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad handed over 1,500 kg of mangoes to a protocol officer of the Pakistan foreign ministry on Monday.
High Commissioner Md Ruhul Alam Sidiqui said this gift of the Prime Minister will add “a new dimension to the diplomatic relations between the two brotherly countries and will further accelerate the development of mutual bilateral relations."
Earlier, the prime minister gifted mangoes to India President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Former President of Indian National Congress Sonia Gandhi.
