The Bangladesh Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has paid a courtesy call on the Bharatiya Janata Party’s foreign affairs in-charge.
Led by Muhammad Faruk Khan, the panel met the BJP’s Dr Vijay Chauthaiwale on Tuesday.
During the hour-long meeting, the committee briefed Chauthaiwale on its activities and congratulated the BJP on its victory in the recent polls.
Committee members Md Habibe Millat and Kazi Nabil Ahmed, and Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram K Doraiswami were also present at the meeting.
