Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Atiqul Islam on Sunday visited the British High Commission in Dhaka to pay homage to Queen Elizabeth of Britain and sign a book of condolence for the late British monarch.
British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Robert Chatterton Dickson was present at the time.
The DNCC mayor offered his condolences to the British people on the passing of their queen, before placing a wreath at her portrait at the high commission.
