Three survivors of a boat capsize in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Tunisia have returned home to Bangladesh.
Mahfuz Ahmed, Billal Ahmed, and Bahadur reached Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 5:38am on Friday.
Tanveer Hossain, assistant director of the Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training—of the Expatriates’ Welfare Desk of the airport—confirmed the matter.
A Turkish Airlines flight transported the survivors home.

More than 60 migrants, most of whom are Bangladeshi, died after two boats—carrying over a hundred migrants—capsized in the Mediterranean Sea, off the Tunisian coast, on May 9 and 10.
Bangladesh's government, in association with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), is working to repatriate the Bangladeshi migrants.
