Azmat Ullah Khan, the Awami League's mayoral candidate for the Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) election, revealed a 28-point manifesto on Sunday, outlining his commitment to a planned development strategy.
The announcement, made during a press conference in Gazipur, signifies Azmat's dedication to enhancing the city's quality of life.
Key commitments include reducing traffic congestion, developing water and sewerage systems, improving services without an increase in holding tax, and reclaiming illegally occupied canals.
Further proposals entail road repairs, improved health services, job creation and an upgraded traffic system.
In addition, Azmat aims to improve the education system, provide support for the elderly and disabled, curb drug abuse, and construct and renovate parks.
