The Election Commission will take submissions of nomination papers for reserved women’s seats in the parliament on February 11.
Commission Secretary Helal Uddin Ahmed made the announcement at a press briefing on Sunday at the Commission Secretariat.
He also announced that the nomination papers would be scrutinized on February 12 and February 16 was the last day for withdrawal. The vote will be held on March 4
In proportion to the seats they obtained in the 11th general election, Awami League will get 43 reserved seats, Jatiya Party 4, BNP 1, Workers Party 1 and one for an independent candidate.
