Voting for the 11th general elections is going on in a fair and peaceful manner, the delegation of an election observer group Saarc Human Rights Foundation has said.
The group relayed their observations to reporters at 9:45am at the Viqarunnisa Noon School and College centre under the Dhaka 8 constituency, after visiting five other centres.
Delegation members Tanya Dawn Foster and Gautam Ghosh said people were observed standing in orderly queues in front of the polling centres to cast their votes.
Responding to queries from journalists, the delegation members said they have seen polling agents from the opposition party visiting the centres.
