He made the allegation at a press conference in his Miapara residence in Khulna on Saturday, on the eve of the 11th general election.
Manju said police raided all 16 wards in the constituency on Friday night. “Police have arrested 12 people from various places last night,” he said.
The BNP Khulna city unit president said polling agents had been picked up.“There is no security of my polling agents.”
He said police have arrested 35 people from his constituency in the last three days.
Manju said he has so far submitted 25 complaints to the returning officer but none was resolved.
