BUFT National Entrepreneurship Expo 2026 opens

The two-day expo focuses on entrepreneurship, innovation and AI-driven business solutions

BUFT National Entrepreneurship Expo 2026 (3.0) opened on Wednesday 7 at BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT), bringing together students, academics, entrepreneurs and industry leaders to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and AI-driven business solutions.

Organized by the BUFT Business Club in association with the Faculty of Business Studies (FBS), the 2-day expo is being held on October 7-8 under the theme “Empowering the Next Generation with AI: Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Sustainable Digital Transformation.”

The expo aims to equip students with entrepreneurial skills and encourage them to harness AI and emerging technologies for innovative and sustainable ventures.

Among the distinguished guests were BUFT Chairman of the Board of Trustees Md Mesbha Uddin Ali, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Engr Ayub Nabi Khan, Member of the Board of Governors of Spectrum International University College, Malaysia and PRAN-RFL Group Director Prof Dr Mohamed Kaisarul Haq, and Acting Pro-Vice Chancellor and Treasurer Prof Dr Md Alamgir Hossain.

Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies Prof Dr Sheikh Abdur Rahim and other BUFT deans and heads also attended the opening and various sessions.

The expo offers students opportunities to connect with industry professionals, explore business ideas and gain practical insights into entrepreneurship, innovation and the growing role of AI in the future of work and enterprise.

The expo will continue on October 8 with further activities focused on developing students’ creativity, entrepreneurial capabilities and digital readiness.
