The second Chittagong Research and Innovation Festival 2025 will be held at Chittagong University on Wednesday.
The "Jamal Nazrul Islam Research Center for Mathematical and Physical Science" and the Chittagong University Research and Higher Study Society are jointly organizing the "Jamal Nazrul Islam-A F Mujibur Rahman Foundation Chittagong Research and Innovation Festival 2025". The event will be held at the Shaheed Minar premises of Chittagong University.
About a hundred schools, colleges and university departments, laboratories, and various institutions from inside and outside Chittagong will participate in the festival.
Through this event, research and innovation will be promoted, students and researchers will be interested in research, and new innovative ideas will be highlighted, said a press release.
Various researchers, scientists, educators, students and environmentalists from across the country will be present at this six-hour event. They will present their research and innovations and participate in discussions. There will be a wide range of poster presentations, technology exhibitions and research presentations for students.
The special attraction of the festival is the "Science Talk" where leading researchers will discuss contemporary research issues. The main topic of the discussion will be ongoing research in various branches of science, innovation of new technologies and future directions of innovative activities.
There will be stall facilities for each participating team at the event. Research presentations, technology exhibitions, special lectures and networking sessions will make the event livelier. It will play an important role in further accelerating the pace of research and innovation in the Chittagong region.
At the end of the event, prizes will be distributed among the winners of the "Jamal Nazrul Islam Research Award". Awards will be given to the best researchers in seven categories. It is worth noting that the "Jamal Nazrul Islam-A F Mujibur Rahman Foundation Chittagong Research and Innovation Festival 2025" is being organized for the second time. The Jamal Nazrul Islam Research Center for Mathematical and Physical Sciences is playing the main role in organizing this event.
