With assistance from the School of Science and Engineering, the Presidency University is hosting a five-day celebration of CSE FEST 2024 starting from Sunday to Thursday.
The program's motto is to celebrate the orientation of the freshers along with many exciting events to spread the zeal of 21 years of prosperity of the department among the fresh minds.
The set of events aims to encourage the ample minds to participate in revolutionary programs like The Programming Contest, Artificial Intelligence Contest, Live robot show and workshop on Robotics, Industry Talks, Quiz competition, Indoor and Outdoor Games, Photography and story writing contest, Inter University Poster Presentation for students of universities around the country and Teacher vs Students Cricket Tournament and many more.
All these events are organized by the Department of CSE.
Eventually, the announcement of all the events was announced with a curtain drop and a big round of applause.
All of the events were divided into these five days, and on Sunday, the participants began the first event, which consisted of workshops and competitions hosted by the AI Club of Presidency University.
As the participants entered the inauguration their enthusiasm was boosted by the welcoming address given by Prof Dr Shahidul Islam Khan, the dean of the School of Engineering, the Registrar of Presidency University, Md Sakir Hossain was the guest of honor and the Chief guest, the Principal Advisor, Prof Dr Md Anwarul Kabir.
Followed by the AI contest and Workshop on Robotics with assistance of the volunteers and the adviser faculty's explanation and supervision, the first day was completed.
With Prof Dr Mohammad Kaykobad present, the following days will be even more engaging and motivating as he will offer his thoughts on the research and extracurricular activities of CSE students as well as a few success stories.
Prof D Farzana Alam will share her insightful thoughts on Humanity-Driven Engineering Education: Crafting and the Future of Bangladesh.
Additional seminars will be held, with speakers from the top IT firms in the nation focusing on career talks. The Inter-University Poster Presentation facilitates attendees by research enthusiasts from different universities around the nation.
The CSE Fest will end on Thursday with freshers reception program and a colourful cultural show by the students.
