East West University (EWU) successfully concluded its much-anticipated National Robo Fest 2024, a three-day celebration of technology, innovation, and creativity.
Held from Thursday to Saturday, at the EWU campus in Aftabnagar, Dhaka, the festival attracted over 2,000 students from 85 educational institutions, organized into 526 teams.
The event featured a vibrant mix of intellectual challenges and hands-on competitions designed to inspire and challenge the next generation of tech enthusiasts.
Among the standout events were the Programming Hero Presents National Hackathon, National Science and IT Olympiad, Project Showcase, Robot Exhibition, and Capture the Flag. Participants also engaged in stimulating activities such as Case Solving, Robo Soccer, Sports Rivals, and the Line Follow Robo Challenge.
A roundtable discussion on "Sustainable AI 5.0 in Industry" brought together experts and innovators to explore the future of artificial intelligence in the context of industrial applications.
In addition to the competitive events, the festival provided a platform for networking, learning, and fostering collaboration among students and industry professionals.
In their speeches, the guests emphasized the importance of preparing for the upcoming fifth industrial revolution, expressing their optimism that such events would play a crucial role in developing future innovators and leaders in Bangladesh’s tech sector.
The National Robo Fest 2024 concluded on a high note, with participants, mentors, and organizers reflecting on the tremendous talent and enthusiasm showcased throughout the festival.
This event not only celebrated achievements in robotics and technology but also highlighted the importance of nurturing young minds to drive future advancements in the digital age.
