Students of many colleges in the capital were seen celebrating after publication of HSC and equivalent results on Sunday morning.
The college students, who sat for HSC exams this year, gathered at their respective colleges this morning.
After publishing the results, the students who came out successfully in the exams with GPA-5, were found bursting into happiness. They were seen celebrating their results with fellow students. .
During a visit at Viqarunnisa Noon School and College in the capital, many students have gathered since morning in the college compound.
The HSC pass rate of the college has been recorded at 98.65%.
Some 1,166 students got GPA 5. Besides, 35 students failed in the institution.
The students expressed their excitement after knowing their result. Along with the students, many parents have also come. They are also happy with the good results of their children.
Meanwhile, students of Notre Dame College rejoiced after the announcement of their results.
The pass rate in the college has been registered 99.56%. Last year the pass rate in HSC was 99.88%. Compared to last year, the number of GPA-5 has also decreased in the college.
Immediately after the announcement of the HSC results, students are seen in unbridled excitement. Along with the students, the parents and teachers also rejoiced.

Students rushed to the college campus to share the joy with their classmates even after knowing the result online.
The fellow students were seen celebrating their results with singing songs and dancing and distributing sweets.
Some 3,214 students registered to participate in the HSC examination this year from Notre Dame College.
Among them, 2,520 obtained GPA-5.
Last year, 2,901 people got GPA-5 and the pass rate was 99.88% in the college.
