Primeasia University and courier company PIDEX have taken a momentous step forward in their collaboration with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday.
The agreement aims to conduct various activities that will provide invaluable benefits to the students of Primeasia University, said a press release.
The Primeasia University Registrar Brigadier General (Retd) Kazi ASM Arif and PIDEX CEO Milon Ahmed Khairul Bari inked the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
The MoU was signed in a ceremonial event held at the Star Tower in Banani campus.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof Dr Nurunnabi Mollah, also attended the program along with several key members of the university's administration including the Treasurer, Prof Dr Iffat Jahan, Finance Director Shiper Ahmed, Controller of Examinations Brigadier General (retd) Syed Mofazzal Mawla, Dean of Faculty of Science, Prof Dr Shuvamoy Dutta, and Director of MBA Program, Ahsan Chowdhury.
PIDEX was represented by its chairman SM Rezwanul Arefin and manager Mohammad Nahidul Haque, among others.
As a result of this strategic collaboration, students of Primeasia University will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and knowledge through internships and job opportunities at PIDEX, as well as collaborate with the company on their thesis papers.
In addition, PIDEX will provide various events, workshops, and career counseling sessions on campus, as well as leadership training and research programs aimed at promoting women empowerment and gender equality.
This MoU represents a major milestone in the relationship between Primeasia University and PIDEX and is set to bring numerous benefits to the university's students, providing them with a unique platform to explore new opportunities and expand their skill sets.
