Presidency University (PU) and GLA University on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at PU campus.
Vice Chancellor (VC) of PU Prof Abul Lais MS Haque and Prof Falguni Gupta, VC of GLA University signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions, reads a press release issued on Thursday.
Under this MoU, PU and GLA University will jointly arrange various programs and research projects.
Besides, GLA University will facilitate and give priority to PU students in terms of internships and jobs as per requirement.
PU Advisor major general (retd) Kazi Ashfaq Ahmed, Registrar Md Ruhul Amin and GLA Prof Ashish Sharma, dean academics, Associate Head and Associate Professor Dr Rohit Agrawal, Department of Computer Engineering and Applications were also present.
GLA University is one of the top universities in Uttar Pradesh, India, reads the press release.
Through the MoU, the students of PU will play a leading role in obtaining graduate and postgraduate degrees in different programs with credit transfer opportunities to doctorate degrees at GLA University.
Both universities will also jointly organize research projects, workshops, and seminars on various topics.
